Ergonomic Design – The Foundation of an Effective Learning Space
An ideal learning environment is not only defined by lighting, acoustics, or technology but also by the comfort and safety of student furniture. With many years of experience in designing educational interiors, RPB understands that posture plays a crucial role in concentration, productivity, and long-term health.
In the Foreign Trade University Hanoi project, RPB Education & Public selected two signature products — the Stacy desk and Moto chair — to create an ergonomic learning environment that adapts seamlessly to each student’s posture, movement, and natural study rhythm.
The Stacy desk is designed with a minimalist aesthetic, featuring a tabletop made of Melamine-faced MFC board that is scratch-resistant, moisture-proof, and easy to clean. Its frame, constructed from oval powder-coated steel tubes, provides a solid structure while optimizing space, ensuring easy mobility and flexible arrangement in large classrooms. Meanwhile, the Moto chair stands out with its naturally curved backrest at approximately 102 degrees, meticulously calculated according to ergonomic standards to help students maintain an upright posture, reduce spinal pressure, and stay focused during long study sessions.
The combination of the Stacy desk and Moto chair not only creates an aesthetically pleasing learning space but also reflects RPB’s human-centered design philosophy, where every product is crafted to support both the physical and mental development of students.

Every detail — from desk height and chair angle to the spacing between rows — was calculated in compliance with the QCVN 03:2011/BGDĐT national standard for school ergonomics, helping students maintain correct posture and reducing the risks of spinal deformities and myopia.
